Handling Adversity

If you live your life on purpose you will be very good at handling adversity as you will see right through it. The successful people in life always put their energy into the attainment of their goals and desires not into obstacles and adversity.

Face it. There will always be obstacles. However, if you have a goal that is as big as a mountain a little speed bump or a little adversity in your path will not deter you. All you see is that mountain top and you at the summit.

Challenges or adversity is what separates the successes from the failures. Where people who fail, or have some adversity will quit, the successful people learn from it and continue to move forward toward their goal or dream.

In the words of the immortal Emerson "The whole course of things goes to teach us faith. We need only obey. There is guidance for each of us, and by lowly listening, we shall hear the right word."

So hear this, "Our only limitations are those we set up in our own minds." Napoleon Hill the author of Think and Grow Rich wrote that and I love that statement.

As always we have a choice as to how we handle adversity. We can let it destroy us and our dreams. Or, we can accept it, learn from it, and continue to put all energy into the attainment of the goal.

Learn to handle adversity and you are one giant step closer to living life on purpose.
